Activating All Access Plug-Ins

1.1 Minimum Software Requirements

• Intel Apple Macintosh

• Mac OS 10.6.8 or newer

• Spare USB port for iLok Smart Key

Note: All Access Plug-Ins will not run on Power PC Macs.

Version 1.1 now includes Windows® VST support.

Learn: All Access Plug-Ins are supported on both 32 bit and 64 bit host applications. These plug-ins automatically runs in either 32 or 64 bit mode, depending on your audio application’s settings.

1.2 Activating All Access Plug-In Bundle

Your All Access Plug-In Bundle is authorized using an Lok2 USB Smart Key or locking your license to your Computer (Machine Lock). Note that an Internet connection is required to activate All Access Plug-In Bundle

 

To Activate your All Access Plug-In Bundle, you will need the following:

• Your All Access Plug-In Bundle Activation Code, sent to you at time of purchase or by Sonic Studio directly.

• A working Internet Connection

There are two methods for activating All Access Plug-In Bundle: in 14-day trail mode or Permanent Mode -

 

1. Evaluation/Trial Mode: Free 14 day full-function trial. See Evaluation Mode Activation

2. Permanent Activation: You are delivered an Activation Code after purchase. See Permanent Activation Mode

iLok2 License vs. Machine License: added flexibility with how you license your software:

iLok2 Method

Highly portable, just move your iLok2 from Mac to Mac. Requires an iLok2. iLok1 will not work with All Access. Sonic Studio recommends using this licensing method.

Machine License Method

Use if you do not own an iLok2. Less portable. Can be moved from one Mac to another using the iLok License Manager application.

You will need to download and install the free iLok License Manager Application to use any Sonic Studio Product.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.2.1 Evaluation Mode Activation

This Section provides important information regarding evaluating or ‘trying’ All Access Plug-In Bundle software for 14 days.

 

Make sure you have an iLok Account and have the latest version of iLok License Manager installed prior to activating All Access Plug-In Bundle

 

1) Click on this Activation code:

Your default Internet application will launch and you will be taken to an iLok.com sign-in page.



Click ‘Sign In’ if you have an iLok account, or ‘Create Free Account’.



2) Follow the on-screen instructions to Redeem and download the All Access Plug-In Bundle license to your iLok account.


3) Launch your iLok License Manager App, Login to your iLok account and locate the 'Legendary Audio All Access Plug-In Bundle' License in your main license list.

 

4) Drag the 'All Access Plug-In Bundle' Licensee from the list and onto your iLok or to computer listed in the left-hand margin of iLok License Manager.

LEARN: An iLok is NOT required. All Access Plug-in Bundles can be licensed to your Mac instead of an iLok USB Dongle.

 

5) Success! You have competed the activation task. All Access Plug-In Bundle is now licensed and will appear in the list of available plug-ins in your workstation of choice.

1.2.2 Permanent Activation Mode

This Section provides important information regarding permanently activating your All Access Plug-In Bundle.

 

Using A ‘MagicLink’ To Redeem Your Activation Code


When you purchase or register for a trial version of All Access Plug-In Bundle, you are delivered a ‘MagicLink’ Activation Code. A MagicLink allows you to easily deposit an iLok Activation Code to your iLok account. A MagicLink looks like this (NOTE: links below are inactive):

To activate your All Access Plug-In Bundle license on your iLok:


1. Click on the Activation Code link you received via email. Your default Internet application will launch and you will be taken to an iLok.com sign-in page.

2) Follow the on-screen instructions to Redeem and download the All Access Plug-In Bundle license to your iLok account.

1.3.2 soundBlade Option Installation

For audio apps other than soundBlade, this step is not required.

For All Access Plug-In Bundle to be enabled for use in soundBlade, the installation of certain software and a Sonic Studio Options File is required. Running the ‘Install Sonic Studio Options.mpkg’ located in your soundBlade app folder’s Sonic Options folder, installs the necessary software for each of these options and enables the options that you have licenses for on your iLok to be recognized by soundBlade

Select the NoNOISE 3 and Sonic Studio Mastering EQ in the Sonic Options Installer Window.

Installing your All Access Plug-Ins follows the same installation process as most other applications on your computer. To install this bundle, double-click on the Installer.pkg.

 

Follow the on-screen instructions to install your software.
